Foster Agreement
*
The foster agrees to provide compassionate and loving care for any dog placed in their home for as long as needed, until the dog is successfully adopted into a permanent home. This care includes—but is not limited to—providing appropriate food, fresh water, safe shelter, and any required medications.
The foster agrees to remain patient and understanding during the dog’s adjustment period, which may take several weeks
The foster agrees to notify Good Omen Dog Rescue immediately if the dog requires any medical care or treatment.
The foster agrees to keep the dog on a leash whenever outside unless in a securely fenced area. The dog will never be tied or chained unattended at any time.
The foster agrees not to use prong collars or any harsh training methods and will never hit or physically discipline the dog.
The foster agrees not to leave the dog unattended outside, whether in a yard or elsewhere, and will ensure adequate adult supervision at all times.
The foster agrees to partner with Good Omen Dog Rescue in helping the dog transition to a permanent, loving home, working together to ensure the best outcome for the dog as quickly and smoothly as possible.
The foster agrees to transport the dog to meetings or visits with prospective adoptive families.
The foster understands and agrees that they may not keep the dog without the prior approval and consent of Good Omen Dog Rescue. The dog remains the property of Good Omen Dog Rescue until the adoption contract is fully executed.
The foster accepts full responsibility for the foster dog and releases Good Omen Dog Rescue and its members from any liability or claims, whether direct or indirect, and agrees not to pursue legal action against the rescue regarding the dog.
The foster confirms that they are permitted to keep the dog at their residence in compliance with all applicable city, county, and HOA regulations.
I grant Good Omen Dog Rescue the right to enter my property, with reasonable notice, to verify compliance with this Agreement, and understand that the rescue may remove the dog if I fail to adhere to its terms.
I acknowledge that the foster dog from Good Omen Dog Rescue may carry medical or behavioral issues that are not yet apparent, and I agree that Good Omen Dog Rescue cannot be held liable for any illness, injury, or harm that may occur to my pets or other animals in my care.
I agree not to hold Good Omen Dog Rescue liable for any damage the foster dog may cause to any person or property. I specifically release Good Omen Dog Rescue from any responsibility for property damage, personal injury, or any incidents involving the dog, and agree to hold Good Omen Dog Rescue harmless for any such damages or injuries. I also agree to notify Good Omen Dog Rescue immediately if any damage or injury occurs.
I acknowledge that this is a binding Agreement and that I have signed it willingly and of my own free will.
Foster Agreement
This Agreement is entered into between you, the foster, and Good Omen Dog Rescue. It applies to the current foster dog as well as any future dogs placed in your care by Good Omen Dog Rescue, regardless of any time that may pass between placements. As a foster for Good Omen Dog Rescue, I agree to the following:
