Please welcome Raine and Jazzy to Good Omen Dog Rescue. 💛

These sweet girls came to us after their senior owners tragically lost their home. It’s heartbreaking for everyone involved. These pups clearly loved their family very much and are struggling with the sudden change.

Raine is a 13-year-old Poodle/Schnauzer mix. She is incredibly sweet and loving but absolutely terrified right now. You can see the sadness in her eyes and it just breaks our hearts. Raine is also very overweight and has some medical needs we’re already working to address. She saw the vet and unfortunately her teeth are in terrible shape. She will need a dental with several extractions. Her ears were also in very bad condition, infected and painful, so she has started antibiotics to help get that under control. She is incontinent and has some difficulty walking, so she’ll be staying with Heather Wilson Safsten where we can closely monitor and support her.

We were told both girls were healthy, so we weren’t expecting these medical needs right away, but this is exactly why Good Omen exists, to help senior dogs who need extra care and love.
