This sweet girl was placed on the euthanasia list for showing fearful behavior at the shelter. She had been with her family since she was a puppy, but when they moved to a new apartment that “didn’t allow dogs,” they surrendered only her and kept their other dog. Understandably, Luna was terrified and confused.
But the moment we approached her, she showed her true, gentle heart by lifting her paw and pressing herself against the kennel bars, just trying to get a little love.
What happened next was nothing short of incredible. Luna had an outpouring of support, with dozens of people stepping up to foster her. We’re still in awe. It’s a powerful reminder that shelter dogs aren’t broken or disposable, they’re loving, sensitive souls who just want a chance.
Luna is now safe and resting in her foster home. They said she walked in like she’d lived there forever. She’s happy, relieved, and ready to settle in.
Are you the right fit to give little Luna her furever home and family? If so, please apply to adopt this absolute sweetheart of a baby!! <3
