Meet Klaus! đź’•
Klaus found himself on the e-list at the Maricopa County Animal Care & Control after struggling with kennel life. The shelter environment was overwhelming for him, and he was labeled a bit of a “spicy” guy. We kept watching and hoping another rescue would step in, but by 8am the morning after his deadline, Klaus was running out of time.
Even though he isn’t a senior (which is usually our focus), we couldn’t ignore those kind, soulful eyes. We knew there was a good boy in there who just needed a chance—and a little guidance.
Since settling into foster care, Klaus has shown us exactly that. He’s a sweet, happy 2-year-old Chug mix who just needed to decompress. He has had some anxiety and started biting at his tail, so we’re working on getting that healed up and helping him feel safe and secure. Otherwise, he’s a healthy boy who’s already neutered and up to date on his vaccinations.
Klaus is now safe, loved, and ready to find the forever home he deserves.
