She’s settling in with her foster mom and dad, soaking up all the love and enjoying some delicious home-cooked meals. She got a much-needed spa day with our amazing groomers Molly & Friends Pet Grooming thank you for helping her feel like herself again! She came to us severely matted, and seeing her cleaned up and comfortable is everything.
Joie does have a large lump on her back leg that we’re concerned about. She’ll be seeing Dr. Johnson at Sun City West Animal Hospital soon to evaluate the mass and determine if she’s healthy enough for removal, as well as getting her spayed. We’ll also be checking if she needs dental work. At around 8 years old, she’s right on the edge of “senior,” so we want to make sure we’re covering all the bases for her health.
