Her skin is in really rough shape and we’re concerned it could be Cushing’s disease or a thyroid issue. She arrived dirty and severely matted, but despite everything, she is incredibly sweet and trusting. We gave her a much-needed bath and carefully removed the painful mats from her body and tail. Her tail was so impacted it had to be shaved down to the skin.

She enjoyed a big bowl of food, fresh blankets, and a cozy bed to finally relax. She’ll see Dr. Johnson at Sun City West Animal Hospital for bloodwork so we can better understand what’s going on and start treating her medical needs. She will also need a dental, as her teeth are in very poor condition.
