When we saw her placed on the euthanasia list, we knew we had to step in for this tiny senior girl. At 10 years old and just 6 pounds, Evie has clearly been through far too much. She’s painfully underweight, just skin and bones and has been struggling to eat due to severe dental pain.

This fragile little lady was terrified at county, facing the unthinkable. She has significant dental disease, several mammary masses, and has limited vision.

Today begins her journey to healing. She’s settling in with her foster mom where she’ll get a gentle bath, soft food for her sore mouth, and antibiotics to help get her started on her healing journey. Next we’ll get her in to Sun City West Animal Hospital to start tackling her medical needs.

For now, she’ll be wrapped in love, comfort, and safety. No more fear, sweet girl, you’re finally where you belong.
