Barney was set to be euthanized due to a large tumor, trouble walking, and other age-related issues.

But we couldn’t let his story end in a shelter. 🥺 This sweet, gentle boy deserves love, comfort, and a chance — no matter how much time he has left.

Barney will be going in for a full assessment to see if his tumor can be removed and to find ways to help him move more comfortably. Whether that means treatment or simply making his golden days pain-free, we’re going to make sure he knows what it feels like to be cared for and cherished. ❤️
